One of Zimbabwe’s top security companies, Securico, on Friday celebrated its 25th anniversary at a glittering dinner held amid pomp and fanfare in the capital.
Securico was founded 25 years ago on December 1 1998 and has grown in leaps and bounds, achieving milestones that even the founders would not have dreamt of.
Founder and managing director Divine Simbi-Ndhlukula recalled with nostalgia the path that Securico walked, from birth and attributed the success of the organisation to its belief in its staff and its clients.
“Many have asked “What are the success nuggets?” and my simple answer, always is – the people,” Ndhlukula said.
“Our people have seen progress in their lives as we try to align personal goals with business goals.
“Success in business is about having good people and processes. It is also about having a good brand. I believe we have them all.”
The businesswoman has over the years been recognised through international awards for her outstanding work.
In October this year, she was inducted into the Excellence Hall of Fame by the Business Excellence Institute (BEX) at a ceremony which was held in Dublin, Ireland.
