Securico celebrates Silver Jubilee in style

According to SECURICO, planting trees in schools helps instil a conservation ethic in learners while they are still young.

FOR 25 years, leading security firm, SECURICO Security Services, has been providing unequalled protection to all and sundry.

To celebrate the company’s Silver Jubilee, SECURICO recently partnered 25 primary and secondary schools across Zimbabwe for tree planting activities.

The programme, being implemented in partnership with the Forestry Commission of Zimbabwe, preceded the National Tree Planting Day set for December 1.

The National Tree Planting Day is held annually.SECURICO held the programme under the theme Our Journey, Our People, Delivering Excellence since 1998.

According to SECURICO, planting trees in schools helps instil a conservation ethic in learners while they are still young.

Speaking at the launch of the programme recently, SECURICO founder and managing director Dr Divine Simbi Ndhlukula said the desire to give families a better life drove her to create the business.In Harare, the Silver Jubilee celebrations were held at seven different schools last week, including Mother Touch Group, TynwaldHigh, Eaglesvale, Mbare High, Mufakose High 1 and Chiedza Children Centre.Ndhlukula shared her journey towards the goal to provide excellent security services in Zimbabwe.

“It has not been an easy journey but we are here today solid, strong and still growing. Key stakeholders for us too are the schools we partner to play our part in the community,”.

“Education is our key focus area. Why? Education is a powerful agent of change, because it is the greatest weapon anyone can use to beat poverty.“
