SECURICO to open branch in Malawi next year

MASVINGO – SECURICO, one of the country’s leading security companies will open a branch in Malawi in the first quarter of next year as it goes on a drive to go regional.

This was said by the company’s founder and managing director, Divine Simbi – Ndlukula during celebrations to mark the organisation’s 25th anniversary held at Flamboyant, a Regency Group Hotel two weeks ago.

Ndhlukula told her guests that this was the first step in the regional drive with the company also eyeing Zambia and Mozambique which may also come in the fold before the end of 2024.

Award winning and a crusader of women empowerment, Ndhlukula said the Malawi operations will cover a range of products including guarding, electronic security solutions, cash movement, and management among other services.

“As we celebrate our 25 years in business as SECURICO, we are now seeing a compelling proposition to move into the region and we have since done a feasibility study in Malawi.

“We would have started in Malawi in 2020 after doing the feasibility study in 2019. Covid 19 derailed our plans,” said Ndhlukula.

She said that the Securico brand is known throughout the region and it’s enhanced by the ISO certifications. Securico also won international awards like the London Stock Exchange which recognised the company for inspiring Africa.

SECURICO Security Services is turning 25 years on December 1.
