SECURICO EMPLOYEES BUILDING REWARDING CAREERS

It’s often said that you take care of your employees, and they will take care of your customers, and this is one success pillars at SECURICO that has resulted in tremendous growth over the last 24 years.

In her speech during the 24 Years Celebration, their Founder and Managing Director, Dr. Divine Simbi-Ndhlukula told the gathering that her dream was always to create a business that would serve its employees as much as it did its customers. She lauded the contribution of everyone both past and present employees for the growth the company has enjoyed so far.

This was confirmed by some of SECURICO’s long-serving employees of over 20 Years who testified that SECURICO for them is home away from home. Mrs Gaudentia Hungwe who joined as a guard in 2000 and now a Security Officer as a woman how she got encouraged by Dr Simbi-Ndhlukula to be where is today. She has risen through the ranks and managed to buy herself a house and taken her children to school and colleges through the assistance of SECURICO. The other touching testimony was from Mr Benedict Matsika who revealed how his life was transformed from being a very disorganised “no good for nothing” person to a responsible father who managed to fend for his family after joining SECURICO.  All his children have now gone through education, and some are now working. He has managed to build his enviable rural home.

Best Employer surveys conducted by IPC for many years, have consistently shown that SECURICO employees are highly engaged, carefully selected team members who are committed, who understand and buy into the company vision. The company has always scored above 82% on the issue of its employees understanding the strategic direction of the business.
